About Eleni Swengler
Eleni Swengler grew up in Kensington, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. She earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design at Frostburg State University and her M.F.A. in graphic design from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia.
While building her freelance clientele, Eleni has held a number of positions in the design industry. She has worked for the Discovery Channel as senior web designer on the interactive side and as a staff designer on the TV side. Her web design experience also includes a position at a start-up dotcom in Virginia called Onesoft. Her passion for graphic design led her to a teaching position at Stevenson University, where she taught both print and web design courses for four years. Currently, Eleni works as a senior designer at Towson University, creating a wide array of materials for the university including the annual report, development campaigns, and publications for international admissions and the UB/Towson MBA program.
Her freelance clients have included the Baltimore Orioles, the New England Journal of Medicine, the University of Maryland Medical System, the University of Baltimore, McKinsey & Company, USA Today, Novartis, Thomson Financial, AOL, and a variety of associations.
